Three bedrooms for six guests
Six people sleep comfortably in three bedrooms, and many houses here have a fourth that serves as a children's room, a study or a spare room. How the beds are arranged, whether there are single beds for children and how many bathrooms the house has is shown on each house's page. Guest numbers always follow the holiday rental licence: the Balearic tourism law (Ley 8/2012) sets the number of places for each house, and we never state more. Some houses on this page are licensed for eight, which leaves you a spare room when there are six of you.
Finca or villa for a family
For a family with two or three children, the question is how the days will run. A finca in the countryside has a garden, a pool and quiet; the children have room to roam, and in the evening you hear crickets rather than traffic. You will drive to the beach and the shops. A villa in a coastal village is closer to the water, the ice cream parlour and the restaurants, with neighbours in return. You will find both here. Three couples under one roof
When three couples travel together, bathrooms matter: does each bedroom have its own, or do two rooms share one? So does the layout, for instance whether one bedroom is downstairs and two are upstairs. That is not always on the house's page, but we know it from our visits and will tell you before you book. Pool, setting and features
Every house here has a private pool, and at some it can be heated for spring and autumn; we confirm the cost and lead time with the owner for each house. Many houses have sea views, others sit in quiet rural settings in the island's interior or on the slopes of the Tramuntana. The filters above the listings narrow the choice, for example to houses with a sea view, within 1 km of a beach or with air conditioning. Can more than 6 people stay?
Only as many as the house's holiday rental licence allows. Some houses on this page are licensed for seven or eight guests; the number is shown on each house's page.
How many bedrooms do the houses have?
Usually three, often four. The exact number, the arrangement of beds and the bathrooms are shown on each house's page; whatever is missing there, we will find out for you.
Do the houses suit a family with small children?
Many do. Houses with a cot and high chair also appear in our family villas collection. Whether the pool is fenced is something we check with the owner before you book.
Can six of us rent a house for 8?
Yes. You always rent the whole house, and the price is for the house, not per person. Six guests in a house for eight have a bedroom to spare.
