Who We Are
A villa is only ever as remarkable as the hands that tend to it.
The Balearian is run by a German-Mallorcan family in Palma. We place hand-picked villas and fincas in Mallorca and Ibiza, know the islands from everyday life and have an honest answer to every question.
Florian Settele comes from Germany and has lived in the Balearic Islands since 2013, five of those years in Ibiza. His wife Maria comes from a family that is Mallorcan through and through, and since late 2024 their son Theo has completed the family. Half German, half Mallorcan: that is how we bring together what our guests expect with the knowledge of locals.
Our team brings experience in luxury hospitality, architecture and advising property owners. We speak German, English, Spanish and Mallorcan, are personally reachable from Palma and know the owners, property managers and partners on the islands.
Our guests say it again and again in their reviews: we are there when it matters. During your stay you can reach us around the clock by WhatsApp and phone, and we respond quickly, whether on arrival day or if something does not go to plan. For us, luxury does not need to be loud. It shows in someone being there for you.
