Villas in Ibiza West

The west coast of Ibiza is the coast of sunsets: from Ses Variades in San Antonio past the rock shelves of Punta Galera to the beaches of Cala Conta and Cala Bassa, everything faces west over the sea towards the islands of Sa Conillera and S'Espartar. San Antonio itself is a harbour town with a promenade, a marina and the bars where the island's chill-out music began; the villa areas lie outside it, in the hills and above the coves.

Villas here are found at Cala Salada and Cap Negret facing the sunset, in the hills of Sant Agustí above Cala Gració, at Cala Conta and Port des Torrent close to the water, and as fincas towards Santa Agnès on the almond-covered plateau. Typical are houses with large west-facing terraces, a pool and a view of the sea, where the evening sets the programme.

The airport is 20 to 30 minutes away, Ibiza Town around 20. The day holds Cala Salada with its clear water, Cala Conta with its view of the islands, boat trips from San Antonio, the road up to Santa Agnès and, come evening, a place on the rocks at Punta Galera.
