The Best Beach Clubs in Mallorca
From international party energy in Magaluf to year-round beachfront dining in Palma: we present seven of the finest beach clubs in Mallorca, with prices, locations and insider tips for every mood.
The best beach clubs in Mallorca have long been among the highlights of an island holiday. Between infinity pools, gourmet restaurants and sweeping sea views, a scene has emerged that goes far beyond the classic beach bar. But which beach club in Mallorca truly suits your holiday? We present eight of the finest addresses for the 2026 season, from Magaluf to Illetas, Port d'Andratx and Palma.
Nikki Beach Mallorca: One of the Most Famous Beach Clubs in Mallorca
On the Calvià coast in Magaluf sits one of the most recognised names in the international beach club scene. Nikki Beach Mallorca opened in 2012 and has since stood for understated luxury, with a pool area, restaurant and its own wine cellar. The pool area is reserved for adults, while families with children are welcome in the restaurant and beach areas. Reserved loungers come with a minimum spend, and cancellations are free up to 72 hours before the reservation. Guests arriving by yacht can use the complimentary boat pick-up.
Purobeach Illetas: Beach Club in Mallorca with Sea Views
Open since May 2017, Purobeach Illetas has become one of the established names among beach clubs in Mallorca. The kitchen blends Mediterranean flavours with global influences inspired by Miami, Marrakech and Melbourne, served with panoramic views over the Bay of Palma. Worth noting is the club's credit system: 50% of the daybed price comes back as credit toward food and drinks, making a day in Illetas noticeably easier to plan. A dedicated wellness area with massage treatments rounds out the offering.
Beso Beach Mallorca: New Beach Club in Palmanova
The newest arrival among Mallorca's beach clubs opened in 2023 in Palmanova, set directly inside Hotel Zel Mallorca on the southwest coast. Head Chef César de Luna, who trained in Argentina, London and Paris and has experience in Michelin-starred kitchens, brings a Basque-Mediterranean touch to the menu. Balinese daybeds, a pool with direct sea views and its own chiringuito bar define the setting near Magaluf and Illetas. Families are welcome too, with small extras like temporary tattoos for younger guests.
UM Beach House: Beach Club in Portals Nous
In Portals Nous, close to the glamorous marina of Puerto Portals, UM Beach House has embraced Balinese-style design in wood, wicker and pale tones since opening in 2019. The concept leans into slow living, and pricing is more approachable than at many other beach clubs in Mallorca, making it a good pick for a relaxed day out on the southwest coast without sacrificing style.
Gran Folies: Beach Club in Port d'Andratx Overlooking Cala Llamp
High above the bay of Cala Llamp, just before Port d'Andratx, sits one of the island's oldest beach clubs. Gran Folies marked its 25th anniversary in 2025 and has long held a reputation reaching well beyond Mallorca, particularly among returning international guests. The terraces are built directly into the rock of Cala Llamp, with views stretching across the open Mediterranean to the Tramuntana mountains. Alongside the restaurant and pool, the club offers yoga and massage treatments, and a water taxi brings guests ashore directly to Port d'Andratx from their boat.
Mhares Sea Club: Beach Club in Cala Blava with a Spectacular Setting
For the most dramatic setting among Mallorca's beach clubs, head to Cala Blava. Mhares Sea Club is built into a former sandstone quarry, the same stone once used to construct Palma's cathedral. The 2,000-square-metre terrace overlooks the Bay of Palma with the Tramuntana mountains behind. The pool area is adults-only, and the club is open from May to October. Pricing sits in the mid to upper range: loungers cost between 20 and 80 euros, with pool access alone starting at 40 euros.
Anssia Gastrobeach Club (formerly Assaona): Beach Club in Portixol
Right next to Nassau, at the end of the Can Pere Antoni seafront promenade in Portixol, sits the club long known as Assaona, now operating under new ownership as Anssia Gastrobeach Club. The name derives from the Mallorcan word for "to season," reflecting a philosophy built on top ingredients, simply presented. Like its neighbour, this beach club in Palma stays open year-round, running full beach service in summer and switching to a lit fireplace and lunch menu through the winter.
When Should You Book a Beach Club in Mallorca?
During the peak summer months of July and August, many beach clubs in Mallorca are fully booked several days in advance. Particularly popular addresses such as Nikki Beach, Beso Beach or Gran Folies should be reserved early, especially if you're planning on daybeds or a larger group. Outside peak season, in spring or autumn, planning tends to be more spontaneous, particularly at the year-round venues in Palma.
Budget-Friendly Beach Clubs in Mallorca
Not every beach day needs the grand setting. Along Playa de Palma, several stretches offer straightforward, no-frills lounger options from around 10 to 15 euros, with no reservation or minimum spend required, ideal for a spontaneous day by the sea.
Which Beach Club Suits You?
The best beach clubs in Mallorca differ less in price than in experience. While some are built around parties and international DJs, others offer calm, excellent cuisine and spectacular views over the Mediterranean. For those who want to pair their beach club visit with a stay in a villa on the southwest coast, our hand-picked villas and fincas in Mallorca offer the right place to return to each evening.
