Golf Courses Mallorca: The Best Courses for Your Holiday

From Alcanada's lighthouse panorama to Son Gual's championship greens: discover the best golf courses Mallorca, all bookable for visitors, including green fees and finca tips.

Mallorca is far more than beaches and Tramuntana hikes. With over 20 courses, the island ranks among Europe's finest golf destinations, and nearly all golf courses Mallorca has to offer are open to visiting golfers without membership. A Mediterranean climate, around 300 days of sunshine a year, and greens with sea views or mountain backdrops make the island a top choice for a golf holiday that feels like more than just a round on the course.

We've sorted the best golf courses Mallorca by experience, so you can find exactly the right course for your trip. Every course listed here is accessible to visitors and bookable online via tee time reservations.

Sea View Golf: Playing With a Mediterranean Panorama

Club de Golf Alcanada

If there's one course on Mallorca you should play in your lifetime, it's Alcanada. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., the course sits right on the coastline of Alcúdia Bay with views of the iconic lighthouse on the small island of Alcanada. Nearly every one of the 18 holes offers an open view of the Mediterranean. Widely regarded as one of the finest golf courses Mallorca has to offer, Alcanada regularly features in Europe's top 100 rankings. The Rolex Challenge Tour Grand Final returns here in October 2026. Green fee from around €130 in high season. Tee times bookable directly via the club's website.

Real Golf de Bendinat

Just seven kilometres west of Palma, set in a wooded valley with views over the Bay of Palma and Bendinat Castle. The course is shorter than Alcanada but technically demanding thanks to narrow fairways and hilly terrain. Perfect for an afternoon round when the sun sits low and the light over the bay turns golden. Visitor tee times are limited; book early. Tee times bookable directly via the club's website.

Golf de Andratx

Located in the island's southwest, this championship course offers one of the most spectacular views of any golf courses Mallorca has: from the 8th hole, you look out across the entire Bay of Camp de Mar. The course is considered one of the most difficult on the island: hole 6, at 609 metres, is the longest hole in Spain. Not for beginners, but an unforgettable experience for ambitious golfers. Tee times bookable directly via the club's website.

Mountain Backdrop: Golf Mallorca With Tramuntana Views

T Golf Calvià

If you want to combine golf Mallorca with mountain panoramas, T Golf Calvià is the place. The course sits at the foot of the Tramuntana, surrounded by old pines and olive trees. Fairways are wide enough for relaxed play, but lakes and strategically placed bunkers challenge experienced players too. From the clubhouse restaurant you look out over the 18th green to the Bay of Palma, a perfect finish to any round. Tee times bookable directly via the club's website.

Golf Pollença

A hidden gem among golf courses Mallorca: only 9 holes, but a panorama that's hard to match anywhere on the island. Olive groves, the Tramuntana mountains behind you, and views across the bays of Pollença and Alcúdia. Short but varied, ideal for a relaxed morning round before continuing your day at the beach or pool. Tee times bookable directly via the club's website.

Son Termes

Perhaps the course on Mallorca that feels most naturally integrated into its surroundings. Son Termes sits in a Tramuntana valley, surrounded by mountains on all sides. At par 70 and just 5,285 metres, it's shorter than most golf courses Mallorca offers, but constant elevation changes and narrow fairways make it technically demanding. Buggy recommended. The restaurant overlooking the 18th green and the Bay of Palma is worth a visit on its own. Tee times bookable directly via the club's website.

Championship Golf: For Players Who Mean Business

Golf Son Gual

The course many call the finest on Mallorca. Son Gual lies near Palma and delivers a championship experience at the highest level: perfectly maintained fairways, tricky water hazards, and greens notorious for their speed. The course is listed in the Rolex World's Top 1,000 Golf Courses Guide and was Rafa Nadal's favourite course on the island. Green fee from around €120. A privately run club, but fully accessible to visiting golfers with a tee time booking. Tee times bookable directly via the club's website.

Son Muntaner (Arabella Golf)

Part of the Arabella Golf & Spa Resort in Palma and a member of the European Tour Destinations network. 18 holes through Mediterranean woodland, with the highlight at hole 15: the thousand-year-old olive tree "Na Capitana", the oldest olive tree on Mallorca. Demanding, long, and immaculately maintained. Anyone looking for golf Mallorca at championship level won't get past Son Muntaner. Tee times bookable directly via the club's website.

Pula Golf Resort

On the island's east coast near Son Servera, redesigned by José María Olazábal, the Spanish Masters champion. 14 of 18 holes offer a clear view from tee to green, and the design rewards strategic play. Pula has hosted the PGA European Tour and ranks among the most challenging golf courses Mallorca has to offer. The resort also features a spa and pool, ideal if not everyone in your group plays golf. Tee times bookable directly via the club's website.

Easy Entry: Courses for Every Handicap

Son Quint (Arabella Golf)

The newest course in the Arabella resort, opened in 2007, and the most accessible of the three Arabella courses. Wide fairways set among olive and carob trees, with continuous views over the Bay of Palma. Perfect for golfers looking for a beautiful experience without the pressure of a championship layout. Green fee from around €75, one of the best value options among golf courses Mallorca. Tee times bookable directly via the club's website.

Golf Maioris

Just 15 minutes from the airport, ideal for a first or last round on the island. Wide, welcoming fairways and five lakes keep the game interesting without overwhelming. Set on a former hunting estate near Llucmajor: relaxed, straightforward, and far less crowded than the courses around Palma. Tee times bookable directly via the club's website.

The Right Base for Your Golf Mallorca Holiday

The golf courses Mallorca has to offer are spread across the island, and staying in a finca or villa in the right region puts the best courses right on your doorstep. For the sea view courses in the north (Alcanada, Pollença), a finca around Alcúdia or Pollença is ideal. If you prefer the championship courses near Palma (Son Gual, Arabella resort, Bendinat), the southwest is your best base. And for a combination of Golf de Andratx and the Tramuntana courses, the area around Andratx or Calvià is the smartest choice.

The advantage of a private villa: you play your morning round, return to your own pool, and the rest of your family or group has had a relaxed day at the same time: no compromises on either side.
